Children & adults
Nobody starts too young, or too late.
We teach children from age 5 up to 16, and we have a place for adults picking up a bow for the first time. Learning a string instrument is a gentle, steady voyage, and everyone begins at the dock.

Youth chamber ensemble · Saturday mornings
Saturday mornings, playing together.
Our youth chamber ensemble meets on Saturday mornings. It is a chance for young players to make music alongside others, listen across the parts and grow beyond the practice room.
- 01Make music alongside other young players.
- 02Listen across the parts, not just to your own.
- 03Grow beyond the practice room.
Recital series · Fall & spring
Two recitals a year, one hall with good bones.
Each fall and spring, students perform in our recital series, held in a converted Anglican church hall. Family and friends gather for an afternoon or evening of music, a first stage for new players.
Arched windows, a pitched roof and a room built to carry a single voice: the right size for a first bow on stage.
-
Recital one
Every fall.
Students take the stage, and family and friends fill the hall.
-
Recital two
Every spring.
An afternoon or evening of music, and a first stage for new players.
Recital dates are shared with students and families by the studio.
