Borrow the tool. Keep the money.
Eastside Tool Library lends over 1,200 tools, from drills to wallpaper steamers, to Leeds residents for £30 a year. Free if you’re on a low income. Every Saturday our volunteer fixers repair your broken stuff at the Repair Café, also free.

Broken? Bring it Saturday.
Every Saturday from 10am to 2pm, our volunteer fixers get stuck into whatever you bring: toasters, bikes, clothing.
Repairs are free. Pull up a stool, watch how it’s done, and keep good things out of the bin.

The Repair Café runs on volunteer fixers, and the tool library runs on neighbours who give a hand. If you can mend, sort, or just welcome people in, we’d like to hear from you.
You’re down as a fixer at the Repair Café. Send us a note and we’ll take it from there.
