Affiliate Agreement
Last updated 21 October 2026
This agreement is between you and ElevationArk LLC (“SmrtSites”) and applies when you join the SmrtSites Affiliate Program. It adds to our Terms of Service. You join by accepting it in your account.
1. Joining
You need a SmrtSites account in good standing, must be at least 18, and must be a U.S. resident or a business based in the U.S. (payouts go only to U.S. bank accounts). You give us your real name (or business name) for payouts and tell us honestly where you’ll promote SmrtSites. We may decline or end an affiliate account at any time, for example if the details are false or the rules below aren’t followed.
2. Your link and how referrals count
- You get a personal link (
/r/your-code), and you can add a campaign tag (?c=youtube) to see what works. - When someone opens your link we set a cookie for 30 days. If they create a new SmrtSites account in that time, they are your referral. The first valid link wins; referrals never move to a different affiliate.
- If you also sell templates on the marketplace, a brand-new person who starts from one of your templates in their first week can count as your referral too.
- These never count: your own accounts or addresses, people who sign up in a browser where you’ve signed in to SmrtSites, people you pay or reward to sign up, existing customers, and sign-ups from fake traffic.
3. What you earn
For each referral who becomes a paying subscriber, you earn 80% of one month of the subscription price — currently $31.99 of $39.99 — whether they choose monthly or yearly billing. It’s a one-time payment per subscriber; renewals don’t earn. Credit packs and template purchases don’t earn affiliate pay. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the share for it is reversed, and if it was already paid out it’s deducted from your next payout.
3b. Promoter
Affiliates who bring in steady subscribers can apply to be a Promoter. You can apply once you have 5 paying subscribers from the last 90 days, have been an affiliate for 30 days, and your account is active and has never been suspended. We review each application and may decline it, or make an affiliate a Promoter without an application.
- A Promoter earns 20% of the net revenue from each customer they referred, on everything that customer pays after their first month: subscription renewals (monthly and yearly), plan changes, credit packs, template purchases and domains.
- Net revenue is what SmrtSites keeps: the payment minus refunds, chargebacks and card fees, and minus amounts we pass on (the template creator’s share of a template sale, and the registrar’s price of a domain).
- It lasts 24 months from that customer’s first payment, and only covers money paid after you became a Promoter. Earlier payments are never paid out retroactively. The first-month bounty in section 3 is never counted twice.
- Promoter pay follows section 4: the same hold, minimum and automatic payouts. Refunds and chargebacks reverse it. Nothing is earned while your account is suspended.
- We may end Promoter status at any time. Promoter pay already earned is still paid once its hold ends, unless it came from activity that breaks this agreement.
4. Payment
Earnings become available 60 days after the referral’s payment (our refund and chargeback window). You set up payouts with Stripe Connect from your account. Payouts are available to U.S. residents and businesses only: you need a U.S. bank account and a U.S. tax ID (SSN, ITIN or EIN), and Stripe will ask you for identity and tax information. Available earnings are paid automatically once they reach $25, together with any marketplace earnings. You’re responsible for your own taxes. We may hold earnings while we look into suspected fraud or a breach of this agreement, and earnings from activity that breaks it are forfeited.
5. How you may promote SmrtSites
- Always say you earn a commission (for example “affiliate link”, “#ad” or “I get paid if you subscribe”), as advertising laws such as the U.S. FTC rules require.
- Don’t spam (unsolicited email, messages, comments), and don’t use misleading claims, fake reviews, or promises we don’t make (such as “free forever” or discounts we don’t offer).
- Don’t bid on “SmrtSites” or misspellings in search ads, or use the name in domains, app names, or social accounts that could look official.
- Don’t list your link on coupon or cashback sites, use pop-unders, cookie stuffing, iframes or browser extensions to set cookies, or buy traffic from bots.
- Don’t promote SmrtSites next to content that breaks our Content Rules.
- You may use the banners and text we provide in your account; please don’t change our logo.
6. Changes and ending
We may change the commission or these terms for future referrals with at least 14 days’ notice by email or in your account; earnings already made follow the terms they were made under. You can stop being an affiliate at any time. If we end your affiliate account for a reason other than a breach, we pay out earnings already made once their hold ends.
7. Everything else
You’re an independent promoter, not our employee, agent or partner, and you can’t make promises on our behalf. We provide the program “as is”, and tracking can occasionally fail (for example if cookies are blocked); our records decide what counts. The limits of liability and the governing law (Colorado) in our Terms of Service apply to this agreement. Questions: support@elevationark.com.
